For dry skin specifically, yes — trehalose, betaine, and panthenol form a humectant-heavy base designed to pull in and hold moisture, and the essence texture layers easily under heavier creams without feeling greasy. It does use alcohol denat and fragrance in the formula, so it's not the pick for very sensitive or reactive skin, but for dry skin without reactivity concerns it delivers real hydration. Best for dry skin that wants a hydrating essence layer before moisturizer.
